I live in the house opposite, have done since 1988. I reckon every day I went out I would hear "Up the Palace" coming from over the road and now as I go out I'm still listening out for it. We spent many an hour discussing football and cricket - there's a chance I even played cricket against him back in the 1970's - and putting the World to rights. I shall miss him, the road is much quieter now, and a light has gone out in our World. Pete (no 38)
